To ensure you can modify the project settings, you can click on the “Azure DevOps” logo
Select the relevant organisation or collection
Select the relevant project
To configure a default branch name other than “master”, click on “Project Settings”
Click on “Repositories”
Click on “Settings” and change the branch name to “develop”
The update will auto-save
The next time you create a repository for dashboard development, the default branch name will be “develop”
